ScerbFab LLC Return Policy

If you receive the wrong product:

If you received the wrong product, notify us immediately regarding any mistakes with your order. Any problems with the order need to be documented with ScerbFab LLC within five days of the order receipt date.  If you believe an item is missing from your order, please make sure to double-check the order before contacting. Inspect packages and packing materials carefully for smaller items. It is easy for small items to hide behind and under the packing material. ScerbFab LLC will elect to find the simplest, quickest, and most convenient way to resolve the issue. We will reimburse return ground freight on any mis-shipped items when it is determined to be the fault of ScerbFab LLC. We want to remedy the situation as simply and as fast as possible.

What you need to know before Returning:

You may return product within 30 days of receipt.  There will be a 15% restocking fee on all returns where ScerbFab LLC is not at fault.  You are responsible for paying return freight charges when it is determined that ScerbFab LLC is not at fault. Return shipment tracking number must be provided within 5 day of notifying ScerbFab LLC of the return.  Credit will be issued for the item(s) being returned within the bounds of this policy. We do not refund the original shipping charges. When returning product that was purchased with “free shipping”, the actual shipping costs will be deducted from the credit.  All returns must be in “like-new” condition with all original packaging and documents and in saleable condition. If you refuse deliveries from shipping carriers, this will result in penalty charges. The shipping return cost(s) will be deducted from your refund amount. If your shipment was delivered to you and is damaged, please call the carrier who delivered it and report the damage. Once the carrier has been contacted, please notify us for further assistance. Please ensure that any return items are packaged securely – ScerbFab LLC cannot be responsible for damages obtained in transit. Please avoid from using duct or electrical tape.  If product was shipped to you in an over shipper, it must be returned in an over shipper so as to not damage any packaging artwork.  ScerbFab LLC cannot accept partially returned items; if you are returning a kit, ensure all kit components are included. Otherwise, no refund can be dispensed. Please take care to ensure the product fits your vehicle before commencing any installation – we cannot accept returned parts that have been installed, disassembled, drilled, welded, cut, painted, or modified in anyway. Failure of part(s) due to use beyond the product’s intended function, incorrect installation, or failure of related part(s) is not covered by warranty or ScerbFab LLC. ScerbFab LLC reserves the right to refuse any return we deem unfit for resale. Any part that, in our opinion, was used, installed, handled, packaged or shipped improperly by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund, or warranty. ScerbFab LLC reserves the right to charge a restocking fee or refuse any return order under any circumstance. ScerbFab LLC reserves the right to refuse any shipments where the shipping charges, duties, customs etc. are not prepaid. ScerbFab LLC will refund your payment the same way you paid. Refunds amounting to less than $1.00 USD will not be dispensed unless they are requested by the customer. If your order included any special offer, free parts, gift cards, etc. they must also be returned (with full value, in the case of gift cards) along with the main product return. Otherwise, the full value of said items may be deducted from your refund. Exchanging defective products: ScerbFab LLC will pay for shipping on the outbound replacement product only. We only specify that the product not be damaged or missing components, including the manufacturer’s documentation. Special order, made to order, non-stocking, and all electrical items are specifically exempted from this policy and will be assessed for an appropriate re-stocking charge on a case-by-case basis. Including but not limited to: Body Tubs, Made to order carpets/floor mats, Crown performance brake lines, Boomerang tire covers, any and all electrical items, GPS-related items, all audio equipment, all hitch products, all paints, all spray chemicals, and any wheel or tire that has been mounted and installed.

Manufacturer Warranty

Most of our products are covered by Manufacturer’s Warranty and/or Guarantee and cover the merchandise for a certain period of time after your purchase. We may act as the agent between you the customer, and the manufacturer. Check the documentation that you received with the merchandise for more information regarding the product warranty policy. Should your product fail after 30 days, please contact our customer service department and we will assist you in submitting a claim to the manufacturer. If it is under warranty we will relay the specifications required by the manufacturer to do the warranty. Some warranties are done direct with the manufacturer. All returned items will be inspected by the manufacturer for eligibility of the warranty if needed. We or the manufacturer will replace, or refund the product based on the findings.

Warranty Returns

If you need a replacement right away, your card can be charged for the new item and we will ship you out the replacement part. Once the warrantied part is received, inspected and approved we will refund your credit card. Alternatively. you can return the warrantied part, and once the part is received, inspected and approved we will ship you out a new replacement part. All inbound freight is the responsibility of the purchaser (the Customer) if the part needs to be returned.  Products damaged as a result of abuse, misuse, improper repairs or neglected maintenance, improper installation, alteration, or modification will not be covered under the warranty. ScerbFab LLC will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages from any products sold, which includes inconvenience, labor, legal fees or any other costs incurred while the item was in use and while the item is being inspected for the warranty claim. We will not be responsible for lost or stolen packages mailed back by the customer containing the parts being returned under a warranty claim. As the customer is the shipper he/she will be responsible for filing a lost claim with the shipping company used. Tracking numbers must be provided to ScerbFab LLC when returning product.  Warranties are non-transferable. They are in effect as long as the original purchaser owns the merchandise and for the time agreed upon in the terms and conditions of that warranty or guarantee.

Exclusions from Warranties

Electrical and computer items. Tires. Any problem from misuse or improper installation. Damage to your vehicle. Consequential costs or damages.

Typographical & Photographic Errors

We offer in excess of 10,000 parts and are constantly reviewing this web site for accuracy and completeness. However, we will not be held responsible for any typographical or photographic errors. We reserve the right to modify the price, description, fitment info and/or photograph of any item without notification. Photographs are intended to be representative and may not reflect the actual product being offered.
